Our Station since 1947

For 70 years, the Whitestone Community Volunteer Ambulance Service has been a starting point for the careers of hundreds of people in the medical field as Doctors, Physician’s Assistant’s, Nurses and Various other occupations.  We have also birthed the careers of thousands of First Responders including EMTs, Paramedics, Police Officers and Firefighters.

We accept applications from any persons that are at least 18 years old.  Upon successfully joining, various levels of training are provided for FREE.  Training is internal, online certificated, and external off site courses.  Much of our training can be matriculated for CEUs and/or college credits.  The FREE training that we provide includes.  AHA courses (CPR), NYS EMT-B Orginial and Refresher and FEMA and DHS classes.

We also provide experience that assists members in employment and schooling.  Training is provided upon completion of service, Membership is a “Give and receive” relationship.

Discounts and an annual Tax Credit is also a part of membership, as is the ability to help others and be a part of something bigger than yourself.
